Nicki Minaj teamed up with Monica and Keyshia Cole for “Love Me Enough”, a bonus track featured on a deluxe edition of her latest album Pink Friday 2. “Lace It” by the late Juice WRLD, Eminem, and Benny Blanco also made the cut, along with Bas’s “Home Alone” feat. J. Cole.
Speaking of epic collaborations that hit the shelves this week, none of them created more buzz than Reneé Rapp & Megan Thee Stallion’s “Not My Fault”. They both channeled their inner Regina George in this catchy bop, set to be featured in the upcoming Mean Girls musical remake.

]]>Olivia Rodrigo’s long-awaited comeback single “Vampire” is definitely the week’s most exciting new release. The young singer used it to set the tone for her sophomore studio album Guts, which she officially announced about a week before sharing this song with the world.
As far as new albums go, none created more buzz than Lil Uzi Vert’s Pink Tape. The rapper’s new LP features collaborations with Travis Scott, Bring Me The Horizon, Don Toliver, and Babymetal, but none of them compares to the Nicki Minaj duet “Endless Fashion”.
Soundtracks for Barbie and The Idol made another appearance on our list this week. Charli XCX’s long-awaited Barbie song “Speed Drive” is here, and it exceeded our wildest expectations. Suzanna Son remains the best thing about The Idol soundtrack and she joined forces with The Weeknd and Lil Baby for “False Idols” this time around.

]]>Lil Bibby announced the news by sharing a video of Juice WRLD in the studio and said they tried to embrace a more positive approach with this record.
“We want this album to feel like a Celebration/Party! Let’s celebrate the life of Juice. No more mourning, I want everyone that Juice loved while he was here to help celebrate, especially his fans who he loved!” wrote Lil Bibby.
Juice WRLD signed with Grade A and Interscope Records in 2017 and quickly found huge success on the charts. His breakout single “Lucid Dreams” peaked at No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100, while his first studio album Goodbye & Good Riddance hit No. 2 on the Billboard 200. He reached No. 1 just two years later, with his sophomore album Death Race for Love.
Following Juice WRLD’s passing in 2019, Grade A and Interscope released two posthumous albums of his music: Legends Never Die in 2020 and Fighting Demons in 2021.

]]>The video was previously unreleased and features the rapper freestyling. “Conversations” was directed, shot, and edited by Steve Cannon and shows Juice WRLD performing live with behind-the-scenes footage and bikers performing stuns with a CGI monster above them.
The ending of the video has the rapper doing a freestyle to the camera. “I don’t got respect n***a, I disrespect. I feel like a pit coming straight for your neck/ These n****s ain’t s***ing, they know I’m up next,” he raps.
Juice WRLD passed away in December 2019 at just 21 years old. Last week, it was reported that the rapper has 50 songs on Spotify with more than 100 million streams each including “Lucid Dreams”, “Wishing Well”, “Robbery”, and “All Girls Are The Same”.
Legends Never Die was released last July and it opened at No. 1 on Billboard’s Top 200 Albums chart.

]]>After the single was released on streaming services, Blanco offered some background in a lengthy post on Instagram. He wrote that he first connected with Juice WRLD over Instagram after a friend introduced him to his music.
The two agreed to meet up and entered the studio together before Chicago rapper even had landed a record deal. The first song that Blanco and Juice made together was “Real S**t,” and they went on to make five more during the initial session, including the popular track “Roses.”
“Real S**t” is expected to be part of Juice WRLD’s second posthumous album that was recently confirmed by rapper and record executive Lil Bibby. Juice’s first posthumous release, Legends Never Die, arrived back in July, just six months after his tragic death.
The album received positive reviews from the critics and went on to be a charts hit. It debuted at the top of US Billboard 200 charts while also reaching number one in the United Kingdom and Canada.

]]>After hearing “Come & Go,” one fan recently decided to go on Twitter and direct a tweet to Marshmello, writing: “There had to be more unreleased @marshmellomusic x @JuiceWorlddd music. For the culture please drop.”
Surprisingly, Marshmello was quick to respond, writing that he has “8 or 9 songs left” with Juice WRLD in his vault.
According to reports, Marshmello and Juice WRLD recorded “Come & Go” back in late 2018. The rest of the songs were probably made during this or several other recording sessions that the pair took part in.
Speaking of Juice WRLD, Marshmello said that the rapper was “one of the most talented people I have ever met” and that they were “constantly on the same page when it came to music.”
“Come & Go” was released in July, serving as the fourth single for Juice WRLD’s first posthumous album Legends Never Die. The song made it to No.2 on the US Billboard Hot 100 while topping several other charts and making it to the top 10 in the UK, Sweden, Canada, and Australia.

]]>The post Best New Songs of the Week: Lady Gaga, Ariana Grande, & Juice WRLD appeared first on Hot Pop Today.
]]>Before the album of the week was released, this teaser video was dropped with Lady Gaga and Ariana Grande dancing with their crews while the skies open up with rain and knives falling down. Besides for the amazing hair, makeup, and outfits, the bright color-themed background and visuals are eye-popping. It’s the girl-power anthem we all need and we can’t get the chorus out of our heads, “I’d rather be dry but at least I’m alive.”
The second release from the forthcoming posthumous album, Outsiders, assembled by the family of Juice WRLD, the Chicago rapper who died from an overdose last year, comes with a video directed by Cole Bennett and a call for support to the Live Free 999 Fund. The fund is a charitable organization that helps people struggling with mental health and was established by the rapper’s mother this year.
The New Orleans group released a breezy song about Outcast member Andre 3000, who has been featured on the artists’ songs, but hasn’t been doing much music for the past 15 years. In a statement accompanying the song the band said, “We love André 3000. We love Outkast. André has culturally shaped hip-hop in a very unique way from his clothing to his cadence.”
Parx has made songs for Ariana Grande, Janelle Monae, and Christina Aguilera and her new song has an upbeat tempo mixed with a ’70s soul groove with the chorus, “I don’t wanna dance alone…” Her second album Coping Mechanism comes out later this year.

]]>The rapper’s new video was directed by Cole Bennett, and it shows him drinking a bottle of “Godzilla” whiskey that leads to some pretty wild consequences. Mike Tyson and Dr. Dre make guest appearances by the very end of the video, making it even more epic.
“Godzilla” serves as Juice WRLD’s first posthumous release since he passed away in 2019, and the video was dedicated to his memory. Cue cards at the very end thank the late rapper “for changing the wrld,” and promise he will be remembered and loved forever.
This single was featured on Eminem’s latest album Music to Be Murdered By, and it reached no. 3 on the Billboard Hot 100 with very little promotion. This enormous success can be contributed to the viral “Godzilla Challenge,” which sees people trying to rap as fast as Eminem in this song.

]]>The hilarious clip opens with Hailee Steinfeld and Justice Smith saying goodbye to each other after graduation day, before giving us a glimpse into the future of the rest of their classmates – which includes everything from terrible dancing to thriving in Robotic Wars.
We wouldn’t judge you if you didn’t focus on the song during the first listen, since we also tried to spot all the stars that Benny Blanco and Juice WRLD managed to recruit for this video. Noah Cyrus, Lil Ducky, Olivia Munn, and Dove Cameron are a few of many celebrities who agreed to make a cameo, and play the classic high school archetypes.
“Graduation” isn’t the first song that saw Benny Blanco and Juice WRLD joining forces with each other. They’ve previously worked on 2018 single “Roses” alongside Panic! at the Disco singer Brendon Urie.
