]]>Combs emerged onto the scene with his 2017 debut album This One’s For You, but it was with the singles of his upcoming album What You See Is What You Get, which will come out in November, that he soared to real heights. Five of his songs are currently featured in Billboard’s Hot Country Songs Top 25. The last person to have accomplished that? The late Johnny Cash, all the way back in 1959!
Although Combs hasn’t yet hit the road for his 2019 Beer Never Broke My Heart tour, all shows but one have been sold out. This is no doubt what prompted the singer to announce dates for his 2020. Locations announced now are Missouri, Illinois, Pennsylvania, Kentucky, Michigan, New Mexico, Colorado, and Texas.
And as if things weren’t going super already, Combs has three nominations at the 2019 CMA awards: Song of the Year for “Beautiful Crazy”, Musical Event of the Year and Male Vocalist of the year.
The only question on our mind is what’s less likely: Luke Combs winning all three awards, or us scoring a ticket to his 2020 shows before they sell out? Only time will tell…

]]>The Nashville sessions were the first and only time the longtime friends ever played together in public. While they spent a whole day recording at Columbia Studio A, only “Girl From The North Country” made the cut for Nashville Skyline. But now, fans might get to hear more of what went down during those sessions.
“We’re thinking about possibly doing Bob’s work in Nashville from John Wesley Harding through the Johnny Cash sessions as the next Bootleg Series,” a source told Rolling Stone. “The outtakes from that period have never been heard.”
The two recorded versions of “Mystery Train,” as well as “You Are My Sunshine,” “Ring of Fire,” “Big River,” and several other songs, are among those we might get to finally hear all these years later.
