The actor is best known for his role as Steve Harrington on the hit Netflix series, Stranger Things. The third season may have just landed, but Keery is focused on his music project, Djo.

Earlier this week, Keery shared the news of his single via Instagram, posting the track’s artwork along with a link to the dreamy, psychedelic pop tune.

The single is called “Roddy” and it is surprisingly listenable. It’s not that we doubt Keery’s talents, it is just impressive that a man with such a talent for acting would also be able to produce incredibly decent psych-pop.

Of course, this is not Keery’s first dip into the musical world. He is a former member of the American psychedelic rock band Post Animal, although he left before the release of their debut album.

Still, “Roddy” is a great jam which boldly experiments with funky and strange sounds. We’re definitely psyched for the album.
