Organizer Emily Eavis said they’re thrilled to welcome Swift to Worthy Farm, and described her as “one of the biggest and best artists on the planet.”

The “Lover” singer won’t be the only amazing artist headlining this event. Paul McCartney will perform on Saturday night, and Diana Ross will take the “legends slot” on Sunday afternoon. Friday’s headliner is yet to be announced, but Eavis revealed it will be a male performer making his Glastonbury debut.

Taylor Swift’s Glastonbury performance will be a part of her upcoming concert and festival tour Lover Fest. When she first announced this tour, set to kick off on June 20th in Belgium, the singer said that she wants to perform her new album in a way that feels authentic, and go to some places she’s never visited before.

Monáe is joining the ranks of Stormzy and Kylie Minogue, who have been previously announced as headliners. This won’t be her first time performing at Glastonbury, but she’s never been the main attraction before.

“We have got Janelle Monáe headlining the West Holts stage. When she last played in 2015 was incredible, that show really was brilliant. You could have watched it with the sound off, and it really would have been incredible. It will be quite a moment,” said Glastonbury co-organizer Emily Eavis.

The 2019 edition of Glastonbury Festival will take place at Worthy Farm between June 26 and June 30. The date of Monáe’s concert is yet to be announced, but at this point, we do know that Stormzy and Kylie Minogue will be performing on June 28 and June 30, respectively.
