]]>Here are 3 nightmarish festivals which rival the total fail that Fyre fest turned out to be.
Fyre Festival saw people’s mattresses soaked from the rain, but the hot weather of the Bahamas meant people dried out pretty quickly. This cannot be said for the festival-goers of Glastonbury 2005, who were hit by torrential rain and the worst storm in years. Everyone’s tent got flooded and not even the strongest of wellies could handle the puddles.
In Indiana, the weather fared no better at the 2011 state fair. A terrible storm raged and the strong winds tore down the festival stage which collapsed onto the crowd. Tragically, seven people were killed in the accident and even more were injured.
The event was meant to be a festival of “peace and love” which makes it even more peculiar that the Hells Angels were hired as security for the event. The bikers were armed with chains and brutally battered many crowd members. One man even got stabbed to death after running on stage with a gun. It kind of makes Fyre Fest seem like a picnic in the Bahamas… which it essentially was.
