Can you believe Blink-182’s seminal album Enema of the State is already 20 years old? Well, neither can we but it’s true. And in order to commemorate the album’s 20th anniversary properly, the band decided to play the album in full during their set at the upcoming The Back to the Beach festival.

One Blink-182 fan asked the band’s frontman Mark Hoppus whether they have any Enema of the State anniversary plans lined up for the future.

“Yes, I think we’re going to play EOTS in its entirety at Back to the Beach to celebrate 20yrs.” – swiftly responded Hoppus.

We hope that this will only be the beginning of the celebratory plans and that the band more things in store for us. Unfortunately, one of them won’t be the reunion of the Blink-182’s original lineup as Hoppus confirmed he and Travis Baker wouldn’t get together with Tom DeLonge for another run.

“There’s been no reach out or no talk of getting the original lineup back together,” Hoppus recently said.

Enema of the State was released on June 1, 1999, and was the band’s first album with drummer Travis Barker. It was a success with both the critics and the audience and ended up selling 15 million copies. The record has some of Blink-182’s most recognizable songs including “What’s My Age Again?,” “All The Small Things” and “Adam’s Song.”
