]]>Wes Borland recently previewed one of Eat The Day’s demo tracks, titled “Whalephant,” for his social media followers and revealed that the band has an entire demo sitting on the shelf. Several weeks later, Borland proceeded to release the full demo on streaming platforms.

Besides Wes and Scott Borland on guitars, Eat The Day was also comprised out of Greg Isabelle on drums and Kyle Weeks on keyboards. The band created enough material for two albums but disbanded after failing to find a vocalist.
“It’s been nearly 20 years since my brother [Wes Borland], Greg Isabell and myself wrote a ton of awesome music, tried and failed to find a vocalist, and then moved on to other things,” – Scott Borland wrote on social media. “It was probably the most musically focused time of my life and although it’s unfinished work I’m so glad that these demos are going to see the light of day.”
