]]>Since the start of the voting, the results were unprecedented, as when the national juries finished voting, the first two places were held by Sweden and North Macedonia, and it seemed that the winner would be the Swedish singer John Lundvik with his “Too Late for Love.”
But it was certainly too early to celebrate because that was only fifty percent of the voting process.
The next part of the voting was the televoting which consist of the votes from the people watching the Eurovision at their home. With the televotes, everything changed drastically and surprised everyone watching at home.
Even though the Netherlands was not in the first three, with the televoting votes they climbed to the first place beating the Swedish contestant by far. The Dutch singer Duncan Laurence brought victory to the Netherlands with his song Arcade, a beautiful piano pop ballad.

Azerbaijani entry is one of the most radio-friendly songs of this year’s competition. Even if it doesn’t win, we’ll probably get to hear it again after Eurovision is over.
