]]>According to the Hollywood Walk of Fame chairman Peter Roth, “each honoree truly embodies the essence of excellence in their respective field” and they’re thrilled to announce the distinguished honorees who will grace the iconic Walk of Fame in 2025.
Legendary musician Prince, who passed away in 2016, is one of the most notable names on the list, and he’ll receive a posthumous star. He’s also been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and received numerous prestigious accolades during his tenure, including seven Grammys and an Academy Award.
Several of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees made it to the list of the Hollywood Walk of Fame honorees, including the English electronic band Depeche Mode, the punk legends Green Day, and the soul/funk group The Isley Brothers.
Fantasia, Los Bukis, The B-52s, Busta Rhymes, George Strait, Keith Urban, and War are also among the most recent recipients, and the dates of their Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremonies are yet to be set.

]]>This week’s list is defined by pop bops, and that’s not a shocker since Miley Cyrus just gave us a whole new album of them. It’s tough to single out just one best song from Endless Summer Vacation, but we decided to go with its second single “River”.
Pop bops on this week’s list come from every corner of the globe, from South Korea to the UK. Fans of K-pop will be happy to hear TWICE’s latest single “Set Me Free” while Eurovision fanatics have Mae Muller’s breakup anthem “I Wrote A Song” to look forward to.
If you prefer alternative sound, you won’t be disappointed by our list, because we have new releases by Depeche Mode, Tame Impala, and Róisín Murphy to look forward to this week… And don’t even get us started on Florence Welch’s amazing cover of No Doubt’s “Just a Girl”!

“We’re incredibly honored to be included as one of this year’s Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees, and to stand alongside the other incredible acts in the Rock Hall and those joining this year,” reads the band’s official statement.
Dave Matthews Band, Judas Priest, and Motörhead were among the artists who were in the running to make it to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame this year but eventually failed to make the cut.
The induction ceremony will take place on May 2nd at Cleveland’s Public Hall, and it will get its first live broadcast on HBO.
