It’s that time of the week again when we dive into the world of new music! From epic collaborations to new songs from our favorite rock bands, this week was nothing short of spectacular, and it’s given us some pretty addictive new tracks.

This week saw Janelle Monáe tease her first album in five years—and the news was worth the wait. Her latest single “Lipstick Lover” is the week’s most exciting new release, and it’s in pretty good company.

Thirty Seconds To Mars also announced the release of their album It’s the End of the World but It’s a Beautiful Day, and they gave us a taste of things to come with a new song “Stuck”. Queens of the Stone Age are also busy teasing their next album In Times New Roman…, and we finally know what to expect from this record after hearing the lead single “Emotion Sickness”.

It’s been a great week for rock bands in general, and you’ll have your ears blown away by the new songs from Imagine Dragons and Nothing But Thieves. Hip-hop fans should also get ready to add some new songs to their playlist since the likes of Lil Durk and. J. Cole releasing new music.

Arlo Parks ft. Phoebe Bridgers – “Pegasus”

Imagine Dragons – “Crushed”

Nothing But Thieves – “Overcome”

Queens of the Stone Age – “Emotion Sickness”

Janelle Monáe – “Lipstick Lover”

Lil Durk ft. J. Cole – “All My Life”

BTS – “The Planet”

Daft Punk ft. Julian Casablancas – “Memory Tapes – Episode 1”

Electronic duo Daft Punk reached into their vault this week and treated music fans with a previously unreleased song, “Infinity Repeating.” The track features The Strokes’ frontman Julian Casablancas and was made during recording sessions for their iconic fourth studio album Random Access Memories.

Daft Punk, which split in 2021, shared the track to celebrate the record’s 10th anniversary. It is the second collaboration of the duo and Casablancas after “Instant Crush.”

“Infinity Repeating” is also part of the 10th-anniversary edition of Random Access Memories, which came out this week. Besides the original 13 tracks, the release also comes with 35 minutes of previously unreleased material like demos and outtakes. A total of nine bonus tracks are included.

The anniversary edition of Random Access Memories is available as a digital release, double CD, and triple vinyl.

Random Access Memories is considered one of the best albums released in the past decade. It reached No.1 on the US Billboard 200 while also topping charts in more than 20 other countries. The album received five nominations at the 56th Annual Grammy Awards and won all five, including Album of the Year. The leading single “Get Lucky,” which featured Pharrell Williams and Nile Rodgers, also became one of the best-selling singles on digital platforms of all time.
