]]>March 31 marked the release of some of the most anticipated albums of the whole month, including Chlöe’s debut solo LP In Pieces and Melanie Martinez’s concept album Portals. Both albums gave us about a dozen amazing new tracks, and we made sure to include them on our list.
If we had to pick our favorite new album of the week, Boygenius would take the cake. Julien Baker, Phoebe Bridgers, and Lucy Dacus finally shared their first joint album with the world and promoted its release with the short film “The Film”, which included three songs from this record.
Tyler, the Creator also surprised us with a new edition of his last album titled Call Me If You Get Lost: The Estate Sale, which features several new songs, including “Sorry Not Sorry”.
This week has also been great for fans of hip-hop, K-pop, and Latin music, with Quavo, Becky G, and Blackpink’s Jisooo making it to our list.

]]>Chlöe released two studio albums alongside her sister Halle Bailey under the moniker Chloe x Halle. She started working on some solo music during their time apart, while Halle was filming Disney’s upcoming film The Little Mermaid.
“My sister went to London to film her movie for seven or eight months, and it was so hard being without her. That is when I started creating my project. I found my confidence – like, ‘OK, you can do this now.’ I always have my sister’s support, and she will always have mine, no matter what we do together or individually,” Chlöe previously told Billboard.
Chlöe created quite a splash with her debut solo single “Have Mercy” in 2021, and she’s been working on new songs ever since. In Pieces will feature a total of 14 brand-new tracks, including previously released singles “Pray It Away” and “How Does It Feel”.
This album will hit the shelves on March 31, and Chlöe recently teased its release by sharing a full tracklist on social media. She gave us a snippet of the album’s third single “Body Do”, and revealed this record will feature collaborations with Missy Elliott, Future, and Chris Brown.
