Monae was nominated for album of the year (Dirty Computer) and for best music video (PYNK). Two time Grammy winner Musgraves is nominated in four categories. Cardi B will be hoping to win record of the year of I Like It, album of the year for Invasion of Privacy and best duo performance for Girls Like You. Mendes has two nominations, one for song of the year (In my Blood) and best pop vocal album (Shawn Mendes.

It was made in collaboration with rapper Young Thug and managed to enter various lists of best songs in 2017. It peaked at number one at UK Singles charts and reached number two on US Billboard Hot 100.
The unexpected success of the song inspired various different versions of the song. The 20-year-old singer had the first television performance of the song on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon back in September.
Camila Cabello’s debut album was released on January 12, 2018, receiving positive reviews from the critics who praised Cabello’s vocals and songwriting as well as Latin influences on the album.
“At first I thought it was gonna be, like, a sad-song album,” she told Rolling Stone. “Then the more I got into [it last] year, it just was better. I felt way happier. I feel that it has a good balance of the emo and the happy.”
