]]>Panic! At The Disco brought their Viva Las Vengeance tour to a close with a concert at Manchester’s AO Arena on March 10. Once the dust settled, Urie addressed the fans on Twitter and thanked them from the bottom of his hurt for sticking with the band for so long.
“For the last 18 years, it’s truly been an experience that I’ll always be grateful for. So if you’ve been with us for 18 years, thank you very much. And if you’ve just joined us, welcome and….farewell. Either way, I love you very much, and I just can’t say thank you enough,” wrote Urie on Twitter.
Urie announced his decision to disband the group back in January, saying he wants to focus on his family because his wife Sarah Orzechowski was pregnant with their first child. He founded Panic! At The Disco in Las Vegas in 2004 alongside Ryan Ross, Spencer Smith, and Brent Wilson, but PATD eventually became his solo project in 2015.

]]>We’re bringing you some of the best musical team-ups of the year that took the whole world by surprise.
It’s not common to see our favorite mainstream artists teaming up with K-pop performers, but that changed this year when Halsey jumped on board for one of BTS’ biggest hits to date.
What do you get when you put a TikTok-obsessed teen and a washed-up country singer together? The biggest hit of 2019, apparently. What a time to be alive!
Madonna’s new album Madame X gave us a series of collaborations we honestly didn’t see coming, but we’re going to give a slight edge to “Medellín” since it’s the cream of the crop.
Taylor Swift’s songs rarely feature other artists, and even when they do, she makes pretty obvious choices. There was nothing obvious about her collaboration with Panic! at the Disco singer, yet he fit right in.

Their performance wasn’t the only epic moment of this concert since Taylor Swift also delivered a powerful speech in celebration of Pride Month during her set.
“You know, a lot of my songs are about love and I just feel like who you love, how you identify – you should be able to live your life the way you want to live your life. You should have the same exact rights as everybody else,” said the ten-time Grammy-winning singer before asking her fans to join the fight for equal rights for the LGBT community.

]]>In a recent interview with The Sun, Urie revealed that he is considering the possibility of writing a musical about his own life that would be adapted for both the stage and as a movie. The 31-year-old also shared that he already had discussions with several movie directors about the project.
“I’ve been talking to a couple of movie directors about film music ideas and about doing musical theatre, Broadway maybe,” he said for the magazine’s Bizarre column. “The ideal [scenario] would be to write music for an idea somebody else has come up with.”
“I talked about doing my origin story, growing up in Vegas, so we will see what happens,” he added.
Besides discussing his aspirations to write a musical, Brendon Urie also told The Sun that he has a goal of performing in a production on London’s West End, with Les Misérables and The Book of Mormon being among his top choices.
All of these plans will probably have to wait, however, since Urie is currently occupied with promoting the Panic! At The Disco’s latest studio album Pray for the Wicked. The band is scheduled to tour the United States through February before heading to Europe for shows in Germany and Netherlands.
