Sambora revealed the news in a recent chat with Planet Radio, saying that there is nothing holding back the reunion with his former bandmates.

“We’re talking about it,” he said after being asked about playing with Bon Jovi again. “I don’t think there’s any reason not to at this point.”

Sambora also clarified his relationship with the band’s frontman Jon Bon Jovi, saying there is no bad blood between the two.

“You know what, there’s no malice,” the 63-year-old guitarist added.

Richie Sambora started his career as a touring guitarist for Joe Cocker before joining Bon Jovi in 1983. He served as their lead guitarist for three decades, recording 12 studio albums with the group and co-writing some of Bon Jovi’s biggest hits like “Livin’ on a Prayer” and “You Give Love a Bad Name.”

Sambora decided to quit Bon Jovi in 2013, saying later he needed a break from touring and wanted to spend more time with his family. Since then, he made only one appearance with the rest of the group, playing at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony in 2018.
