Coachella’s official social media team made a sneaky announcement of Blink-182’s appearance on Thursday by simply sharing the festival’s schedule and writing “Take off your pants and jacket” in the caption. This is, of course, the name of the band’s seminal 2001 studio album.

By going through the schedule, you can spot Blink-182 being slotted to play the 6:30 pm show on Friday (April 14) at Sahara Tent.

The band’s frontman Tom DeLonge later confirmed the news via Twitter.

Blink-182 reunited its founding lineup of DeLonge, Mark Hoppus, and Travis Baker, back in September while announcing a world tour. The trio last played together in 2014 before DeLonge opted to quit the group in early 2015. Hoppus and Baker later recruited Alkaline Trio frontman Matt Skiba as his replacement and recorded two albums, 2016’s California and 2019’s Nine.

The band initially planned to start its reunion tour in March, but it had to be postponed after Baker ended up suffering an injury during rehearsals. They are now set to kick off the trip in May with a show in St. Paul, Minneapolis.
