]]>The music video for “Mil Veces” was directed by Jackson Tisi, and it sees Anitta and David play a couple in a tumultuous relationship. We watch them go through many ups and downs before eventually fading out of each other’s life after realizing they’re doing each other more harm than good.
Anitta said she enjoyed working with David on this music video, and said she’s really happy with the final result and the way it captures the song’s message.
“I love the attractive pop notes of its lyrics, which talk about a relationship that wasn’t meant to last but continues on and on experiencing ups and downs… It’s a relationship dynamic that many people have already experienced. I think ‘Mil Veces’ will relate to many people,” said Anitta in a press release.
“Mil Vaces” comes only a few months after the release of Anitta’s recent EP Funk Generation: A Favela Love Story, which produced the hit single “Funk Rave”.

Doja Cat never had trouble putting together a great show and she took things up a notch at Coachella. From costumes and choreography, everything during her set was show-stopping and she proved herself as one of the best R&B performers of her generation.

]]>The music video for their latest single, “Make It Hot,” is here, and it perfectly encapsulates the summer spirit.
The offbeat video for this perfect summer bop isn’t exactly plot-driven, but it’s exactly what we need right now. It’s filled with colorful outfits, epic dance moves and street parties, and perfectly matches the vibe of this catchy tune.
Anitta has said it was a joy to compose another song alongside Major Lazer, since it’s amazing to work with someone who completes you artistically.
“We have developed this energy that is similar to being around family and close friends when we work together. It’s good to be able to bounce ideas off each other, and that’s something that happens naturally now. I think it’s difficult for anyone to listen to this song and remain still,” said the Brazilian star in a press release.
Major Lazer is currently working on their fourth studio album Music Is the Weapon, but it’s unclear if this song will make it to the final track list.
