Every once in a while, we get a week where every new song we hear is a total banger, and this one is a case in point. From The Weeknd and Anitta to The Cure and Ethel Cain, all our favorite artists absolutely smashed it with brand-new tracks they shared with the world this week.

This Friday marked the release of several great albums, and The Cure’s Songs of a Lost World is the best of them all. It produced two singles between hitting the shelves, but the remaining six songs are equally amazing, and we’re singling out “All I Ever Am” as an early favorite.

Tyler, the Creator made an unconventional decision and dropped his new album Chromakopia on Monday, instead of waiting until Friday. He made a splash with several songs from this record, including “Darling, I” ft. Teezo Touchdown.

When it comes to new singles released this week, none created more than The Weeknd’s latest. He tapped Anitta to appear in the eerie music video for “São Paulo”, the third single from his upcoming album Hurry Up Tomorrow.

The rest of our list of the best songs of the week includes something for everyone, so check it out to discover new music by Shawn Mendes, Ethel Cain, LCD Soundsystem, Snoop Dogg, and many more.

We’re only a few days into October, but it’s already becoming clear that our favorite artist came into this month ready to give us their all. Coldplay is leading the way on our list of the best new songs of the week with “All My Love” from Moon Music, but Victoria Monét, JoJo, and Finneas also made the cut.

Over two decades into their career, Coldplay is still keeping things fresh, and their new album Moon Music has given us several pretty great songs. The band’s latest single “All My Love” is one of them, and it’s the buzziest new release on our list of the best songs of the week.

Moon Music isn’t the only new album to hit the shelves this Friday. Victoria Monét dropped the deluxe version of her acclaimed debut album Jaguar II and impressed us with “1900’s”, Finneas promoted For Cryin’ Out Loud! with “Lotus Eater”, while James Bay made the cut with “Hope” from his latest LP Changes All the Time.

This has been a pretty great week for British artists, and Coldplay and James Bay aren’t the only ones to catch our attention. Rachel Chinouriri joined forces with Cat Burns for “Even”, rising star Myles Smith dropped “Whisper”, while the former Little Mix singer Perrie Edwards shared solo single “You Go Your Way”.

Discovering new music is never going out of style, and this week brought countless amazing songs our way. From SZA and Bleachers to MGMT and Linkin Park, a diverse range of artists made it to our list of the best songs of the week with their epic new tracks.

SZA hasn’t dropped any new solo singles since sharing her acclaimed album SOS with the world, but that finally changed this week. She teased the release of its follow-up LANA with a new song “Saturn”, an escapist anthem about the lure of the unknown.

This week was pretty slow for new album releases, but some of our favorite indie artists still surprised us with new LPs. MGMT teased Loss of Life with “Dancing in Babylon” ft. Christine and the Queens, while Allie X promote her new album Girl with no Face with “Weird World”.

It was a great week for alternative and rock music in general, and we’ve seen several beloved bands share new music with the world. Kings of Leon dropped “Mustang”, Bleachers teased their next album with “Me Before You”, while Linkin Park paid homage to their late vocalist Chester Bennington by sharing the unreleased track “Friendly Fire”.

Norah Jones, Catfish and the Bottlemen, Kasabian, and Lil Durk also made it to our list, so grab your headphones and get ready to discover their new songs!

SZA – “Saturn”

Discovering new music is probably one of the most satisfying feelings in the world, and we’re always happy to guide you through the world of new sounds. This week gave us an abundance of amazing new music, from the likes of Bleachers, Aurora, Norah Jones, and Mumford & Sons.

Our favorite artists are slowly going back to sharing their new albums with the world, and Green Day’s Saviors is definitely this week’s most exciting new release. They teased it with several singles, and ’90s-inspired “Bobby Sox” might be one of the very best.

This week has also been pretty epic for fans of alternative sound, with several of our favorite bands sharing new music with the world. Everyone from Bleachers and IDLES to Cage the Elephant and The Libertines have been busy in the studio in recent months, and they’re finally ready to show us what they’ve been up to.

Several indie-leaning collaborations also hit the shelves this week. Noah Kahan joined forces with Sam Fender for the new version of “Homesick”, while Mumford & Sons partnered up with Pharrell Williams for “Good People”, their first single in years.

Bleachers – “Tiny Moves”

Green Day – “Bobby Sox”

Mumford & Sons x Pharrell Williams – “Good People”

AURORA – “The Conflict of the Mind”

Allie X – “Off With Her T–s”

IDLES – “GIFT HORSE”

Cage The Elephant – “Neon Pill”

It’s still unclear when we’ll get to see many of our favorite artists live, with so many concert tours and music festivals being canceled, but that doesn’t mean they’ll stop entertaining us. Many of them are still performing live on social media, and Billboard is here to support their efforts.

The famous music magazine kicked off their own Live At-Home series on their Facebook page last week, and JoJo, Josh Groban, and Russell Dickerson were amongst the artists who agreed to join in. Each of the artists taking part picked a different nonprofit organization to support in their live stream.

The list of artists taking part in this project got even longer this week, and it includes such artists as Madison Beer, Lauren Jauregui, X Ambassadors, and Allie X.

Hey all. I’ll be singing a few songs (ones I can play and maybe one or two I can’t!) from my bedroom tomorrow! During it…
