]]>This week marked the release of several new albums, but Foo Fighters’ But Here We Are is the buzziest of them all. The ten-minute track “The Teacher” was unleashed as the album’s fourth single ahead of its release, and it made it to our list of best songs.
This has also been an amazing week for epic collaboration and soundtrack music. Some of the songs on our list hail from hit movies and TV shows, including Ed Sheeran’s “A Beautiful Game” from Ted Lasso, Metro Boomin’s hip-hop infused “Calling” from Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, The Weeknd’s “Popular” from The Idol, and “Watati” by Karol G and Aldo Ranks from Barbie.
Most of these songs are amazing collaborations between our favorite artists, but the list of A-list match-ups doesn’t end there. Latto and Cardi B gave us another show-stopping female-lead hip-hop duet with “Put It On Da Floor Again”, Lana Del Rey and her dad Rob Grant joined forces for “Lost at Sea”, and Nelly Furtado made her highly-anticipated comeback with “Eat Your Man” featuring Dom Dolla.

]]>Payne, who rose to fame as a member of One Direction, was a guest on Billboard’s First Stream Live where he explained that “Stack It Up” was held up a year due to a series of coincidences.
“We literally did the song with Boogie and then we found out that he had a song on Ed Sheeran’s album,” he said, referring to rapper A Boogie wit da Hoodie who collaborated on the track. “So it was like, ‘Okay, we’ll just have to wait for that to go by.”
“[…] after that, he had a song that was coming out, so we waited for that to go by,” continued Payne. “And then there was some sort of weird thing that happened with some sort of Grammy nomination week thing that happened when there was a date in place, and everyone was rushing for the date and I was like, ‘I want no part in this, I feel like Grammys are a while away for me yet, so I’m just going to avoid that at all costs.’”

]]>Their new video isn’t exactly plot-driven, but it perfectly captures the spirit of summer. It shows the duo hanging out at the park and enjoying a bbq, which eventually turns into a party where they perform a choreographed dance number with a bunch of their friends.
Khalid is currently busy with his sold-out “Free Spirit” world tour, but that didn’t stop him from making time for a benefit concert in honor of the victims who lost their lives in the tragic shooting in his home town of El Paso.
“Over the past few days, I’ve been thinking of ways to help out and support the city. I’m planning for a benefit concert later this month, all of the proceeds will go to the families affected by the shooting. Sending everyone my love and will keep you guys updated,” wrote Khalid on Twitter.

]]>We are a bit “rap-heavy” heavy this time, but it’s only because we saw Post Malone, A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie and several other rappers great new songs. But just in case you prefer some other sound, there are plenty of singles that will be a great listen including the new releases from Sabrina Carpenter, Muscadine Bloodline, Nicky Jam and others.
