The post Kid Cudi Cancels Tour Dates After Getting Injured at Coachella appeared first on Hot Pop Today.
]]>Kid Cudi took to social media to announce he’s heading to surgery for a broken calcaneus following his Coachella performance, and he’s canceling his tour dates to focus on recovery.
“We have to cancel the tour so I can focus on getting better to be out there in top shape to rage with you all. There’s just no way I can bounce back in time to give 100%. The injury is much more serious than I thought,” he wrote in a statement on social media.
The rapper thanked his fans for their endless love and support and said he’ll be back with new dates as soon as possible because he can’t wait to be back on the road.
Kid Cudi was supposed to embark on Insano: Engage the Rage World Tour in support of his latest studio album Insano, which came out on January 12. It produced singles “Porsche Topless” and “At the Party” ft. Pharrell Williams and Travis Scott, and its sequel Insano (Nitro Mega) hit the shelves on February 23.

]]>The post Twenty One Pilots Push “Clancy” Release to Film Music Video for Every Song appeared first on Hot Pop Today.
]]>Twenty One Pilots announced the release of Clancy in late February, and it was initially supposed to hit the shelves on May 17. They also dropped the music video for the lead single “Overcompensate” and shared a 13-song tracklist, revealing they’re planning to film a music video for every single one.
This creative undertaking has proven to be quite challenging, and Tyler Joseph announced they’re delaying the release of Clancy to give themselves enough time to finish all the videos.
“When I first told Josh and Mark and everyone on our team that I wanted to do a music video for every song on the album ‘Clancy’ that’s coming out, I told them it’s because I love these songs and I believe in them enough to pretend to sing in front of a camera for each one,” said Joseph in a video he shared on the social media platform X.
The release of Clancy is now set for May 24, and its third single “Backslide” is hitting the shelves tomorrow.

]]>No album this week created more commotion than Taylor Swift’s Tortured Poets and its companion piece The Anthology. She’s given us 16 new songs on the standard edition and 31 in total, but “So Long, London” is definitely her strongest new release.
This Friday was pretty slow for new releases because most artists wanted to avoid competing with Swift. That didn’t stop Pearl Jam from sharing their long-awaited album Dark Matter, which produced several amazing songs, including “Wreckage”.
The lack of major releases helped our favorite indie and international artists shine, and make it to our list of the best new songs of the week. Hozier’s “Why Would You Be Loved” is definitely worth listening to on repeat, and so are the latest singles by Rachel Chinouriri, Debbii Dawson, Kings of Leon, Kate Nash, and more.

Carpenter described “Espresso” as a song about “seeing femininity as your superpower”, and said she had a very clear vision for its music video from the get-go.
“Since the day I heard the song, I saw a beach atmosphere – and more specifically this kind of old school [and] modern environment. [I wanted to capture] the playfulness that I like to use throughout all of my videos. I also just wanted a pool car, to be frank,” she told Vogue.
Carpenter dropped “Espresso” ahead of her performance at Coachella, and this marks her first solo release of the year. She spent the start of 2024 touring alongside Taylor Swift on The Eras Tour and joined forces with Girl in Red for the duet “You Need Me Now?”
